Hey there! We’ve noticed a small bug when posting audio tracks in the latest iOS app update, and we’re working on fixing it. The newest update will be available as soon as possible! - The Cantus Team.

Make sure to update your IOS app to the latest to take advantage of new features: - The Marketplace has been replaced with an Events page, where you can find events happening near you. - The app’s user interface has been updated to make it more native. - Haptic feedback is now available for button touches. - File sizes have been increased. - Up to 12-song EPs are now supported. - Music Player updates have been made. - The overall user interface has been upgraded. - Daily challenges are now available.

Hey everyone! We’re aware of some of the Bugs on the app right now - we’ve fixed it but are in a waiting process for apple to review the updates & push them. In the meantime viewing cantus from mobile browser is recommended for full experience! We’re hoping the updates are out by tomorrow! Fixes coming: - Push notifications are now fully functional for all notifications, so you can stay updated on how people interact with you! - Hidden textboxes behind the screen have been fixed. - There are additional UI improvements. - Faster DMs and notification processing. - Profile Analytics now includes page view and song view counts. - .WAV and video support are available. - Lyric editing is now supported. - Fixed sign up Onboarding issue. - Added Send post to DM Feature.

We’ve rolled out a big batch of improvements to make the platform smoother, more powerful, and more creator-friendly: 🔗 Clickable Links Links in posts and comments are now clickable and open in a new tab. 💬 DM Images & Audio You can now send images and voice notes in direct messages using the new chat buttons. 🎙 Voice Comments Record and post voice comments directly on posts. Tap the mic, record, preview, and send. 🏷 Category Mentions Tag groups like @Producer, @Artist, @DJs, @Fans, or @Agents in posts to notify all users with that role. 🎧 Mini Player Upgrade The audio player now has a minimize button, shrinking it into a floating player so you can keep browsing while music plays. 🖼 Playlist Cover Images You can now add custom cover images when creating or editing playlists. 🔥 Badges & Streaks Profiles now show posting streaks (🔥 icon) and earned badges. Badges unlock automatically at 7, 30, and 100-day streaks. 🛒 Marketplace Updates New subtitle: “We’re building a space for music professionals to offer their products!” Renamed sections: • Artists – Merch Store, Pre-sales & More • Producers – Merch Store, Beat Packs & More 📊 Top Audio “Top Songs” has been renamed to Top Audio in the feed sidebar. ❤️ Comment Likes Fix Like counts now sync and display correctly. 🖼 Profile Cover Menu The Remove Cover option is now inside a dropdown accessed via the Cover button. 👤 More Account Types New signup roles added: Fan, Creator, Photographer, Videographer, and Agent. 💬 Smarter Chat Notifications When a message comes in and the chat isn’t open, it now pops up minimized with a notification indicator (glow, bounce, and badge). 🔐 “Remember Me” Login • Unchecked: signed out when browser closes • Checked: stay signed in until you log out 🔄 Better Page Refreshing Refreshing the page keeps you on the same screen instead of sending you back to the feed. - You can now post up to 5 songs as an EP. - ZIP File format for Beat packs works up to 50 MBs. Feed: - Commenting replies added. - Comment likes added. - Comment tagging feature fixed. - Comment editing feature added. - Repost feature added. - Music can now be scrubbed on the post or in the music player.

 Music Player: - New design & functionality updates (Check them out!) - Player continues to listen to other posts after a song is done; you can also scrub through Feed songs in the player.

 Profile: - We’ve added an “Analytics” which you can find next to your “edit profile” button. (Check it out!) If you have any other suggestions, please DM us! Sending out Cantus to your Creator/artist friends helps us build the platform more for you!

Here are a few notes on the latest updates and upcoming changes: - We’re currently working on fixing the .zip file uploader for the beat pack post option. - The audio player now includes playlisting, and we’re working on fixing audio scrubbing. - Users can now post their own opportunities (check it out!). - The remix feature is fully functional. Give it a try! - You can now change your theme from dark to light by clicking on your profile dropdown. The next major update will be posted on January 20th.
